Account Executive

In this role, Account Executive would help MWG and its subsidiary companies in following ways: • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports • Declaration, Submission and Finalization of Goods and Services Tax (GST/SST) • Managing and Attending Income Tax Department and Custom Department (GST/SST) • Other deem necessary related matters for income tax, GST, company secretary and auditors • Assist with other accounting projects

RM 2000

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience: • Ability to work independently and as a team • Great attention to detail and deeply cares about his/ her work • Excellent organizing abilities • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen • Highly motivated, curious and interested in learning • Excellent communication skills. Able to breakdown complex subjects into simple and easy to understand format for the audience. • Analytical and able to suggest ways to make accounting process more efficient to the top management. • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices • Excellent knowledge of accounting system; preferably AutoCount. • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel) and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. Auto Count). • BSc / Msc in accounting, finance or relevant field.
